Martin Cafe in St. Peter im Schwarzwald

We hoped for a little more. Cakes were ok but nothing special that you absolutely have to go. The service was ok but could be a bit more open and on the ball. Ambience is getting a bit old. We didn't find it so cozy.

Nice service, tasty treats!

Sweet, a little old-fashioned café with a fabulous Black Forest cherry cake and delicious coffee and tea. Very friendly service! It's a shame that there is still no vegan alternative to milk, but that's sure to come soon, teas are diverse. When the weather is nice, you can sit by the fountain in the pretty courtyard and look at the monastery.

Bad, did not go forward and for 1 Hilda bun € 3.20. That is usury. Once, never again

Good cozy cafe. Except for the problem that every day the same baked goods in the bar. Cakes are always the same, so we no longer bring cakes to coffee.

The landlady (?) Does not seem to need to communicate with guests in a friendly way. Pity! She thinks well, there are always new tourists anyway. Nevertheless, a good impression of Black Forest hospitality would be different ... We had allowed ourselves to place the "reserved sign" on an adjacent table (which also had 4 seats) in an area where several more tables were available. For that we and the whole local (volume of her voice) could listen to us a sermon. If then the empty espresso cup (really nothing in it!) Was their "revenge", I can not say ... Never again, fortunately, there are several cafés in St Peter! The contents for the espresso cup, I've got me then even with a friendly employee at the coffee machine.
